Well, Supernatural Family. I've Got Some Bad News, and Some Good News

So... First the bad news.  My book proposal for a Volume 2 of The Mythology of Supernatural was rejected by the publisher... for now, at least.  There's always a chance they will change their minds later.  but for the moment they don't want a new title that might disrupt sales of the current one (at least, that's what I was told by the publisher).  I am sorry I couldn't make this project happen for you, Supernatural Family.  You have all been so good to me, and I truly appreciate the support and kindness the SPN fandom has shown to me.

HOWEVER... I also have some GOOD news.

I still have the sample chapter that I submitted for The Mythology of Supernatural, Volume 2.

And... since it looks like it's not going to be published anytime soon... I've decided to make it available here on the blog.  Sorry for being a tease, but I need a day or two to read through it and make sure there is nothing copyrighted or proprietary.

But I will do my best to post it to the blog no later than first thing Friday morning.

As always, thank you all so much for your support and interest! Without you, I'd have no one to write for.

Spread the word! The sample chapter will post no later than early Friday morning (FYI--I am in the eastern US time zone)

UPDATE: Sample Chapter is now posted!

    1. Well, that's the nature of being a writer sometimes. I haven't had a book proposal rejection in years, so I was kind of due for one. LOL

I am sorry, but I had to remove the Anonymous User comment option. I was receiving far too many spambot posts (100s a day). However, if you are a real person and not a bot, feel free to post with your google, blogger, or one of the other available IDs.
