For Our Fallen Brothers

A lot of my fellow Marines have been lost over the centuries.  But this week, we lost a surprising number to both combat and training accidents. Therefore, I felt it appropriate to share this little prayer/poem that I recite every time I learn that more Marines have died... to honor them:

Sound the bugle and play the taps.
Bow your head then raise your glass.
Pour one out for the brothers we've lost,
The ones who've paid the final cost.

Rest in Peace, Marines.

I am sorry, but I had to remove the Anonymous User comment option. I was receiving far too many spambot posts (100s a day). However, if you are a real person and not a bot, feel free to post with your google, blogger, or one of the other available IDs.
